Mini School Session Terms & Conditions
Kirsty Bowen Photography // Pop up mini sessions.
Booking Fee & Payment
The £15 booking fee secures your 10-minute session and is non-refundable. This fee will be added as credit to your gallery and can be redeemed against prints or digital images. The credit does not cover shipping costs, and any remaining balance for products must be paid separately.
The booking fee cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another family or session.
Session Details
Each session accommodates one family, with up to four siblings. Children must wear their school uniform. Sessions are held outdoors only. Please arrive on time, as sessions run back-to-back. Late arrival may reduce your session time or require rescheduling. The Photographer retains full creative control over composition, lighting, poses, and editing. No specific image, pose, or expression is guaranteed.
Gallery & Orders
The gallery will be delivered after the session. Parents may choose which prints or digital products to purchase, and all orders and shipping are paid separately.
Editing & Delivery
Images are edited for exposure, clarity, and natural style. Minor blemishes or distractions may be corrected, but permanent physical features, facial characteristics, or clothing damage will not be altered. Galleries are typically delivered within two weeks. Requests for additional editing may incur an additional fee.
Copyright & Usage
All images remain the copyright of Kirsty Bowen Photography. Purchased images may be used for personal or family purposes only. Images may not be sold, licensed, or used commercially without written permission.
AI Use and Alteration
Images may not be used to train, develop, or improve AI systems, including image generation or facial recognition, without written consent. Images may not be uploaded to third-party AI platforms for alteration. Basic personal or internal use, such as cropping, printing, or sharing, is permitted.
Conduct & Safety
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the session. The Photographer may pause, relocate, or terminate the session if unsafe or disruptive behaviour occurs. Unacceptable behaviour includes physical aggression, verbal abuse, intimidation, harassment, or interference with equipment. Any disruption does not affect fees owed.
Liability
All participants take part in the session at their own risk. The Photographer holds Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance to a value of £5,000,000. The Photographer is not liable for personal accidents, lost or damaged belongings, or damage caused by the premises. Parents are responsible for any damage to the Photographer’s equipment and will be invoiced at replacement value. The Photographer’s total liability is limited to a reshoot or refund at their discretion.
Postponement, Cancellation & Force Majeure
The Photographer may reschedule a session due to illness, extreme weather, or events beyond their control. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Parents cannot cancel a session once it is booked. The booking fee is non-refundable, and sessions are non-transferable. Liability is limited to providing a rescheduled session only.
Data & Privacy
Personal data collected for the session is stored securely and used only for delivering photography services. All data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Marketing & Consent
The Photographer may use images for marketing purposes only where parental consent has been given. Consent is recorded separately from gallery delivery or purchase, and parents may opt in or out at any time.
Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted in writing within seven days of receiving the products. Complaints relating to artistic style, editing choices, or subjective preferences do not constitute grounds for a refund.
