NATURAL, RELAXED +
HAPPY PHOTOS
I’m here to break the mould of boring, forced school photos. I pride myself on capturing relaxed, fun, and natural images of children at all stages of education. No awkward poses. No stuffy backdrops. No lights beating down on them.
Instead, I take time with each child, pulling silly faces, cracking jokes, and chatting to encourage real giggles and that show off each of their personalities.
I take photos that kids enjoy doing and that parents will love and keep forever.
No bright lights, or awful, old-school backdrops.
We get outside and laugh, letting the children be unapologetically themselves.

I just wanted to take the opportunity in saying thank you for the amazing school photos of my son!!!
I absolutely love your style.
— PARENT
Of all the photography companies we have worked with, the children's wellbeing and experiance is considered the most when working with you.
— Nursery Owner
My approach is all about taking the extra time needed to bring out the best in every child. Rushing can lead to stiff, unnatural photos, and sometimes tears. I’ll never do that. Instead, I create a fun and safe environment where children feel comfortable and confident both in front of the camera and with me.
As a mum, I know how to spark giggles, say the right things, and I’m always ready to pull a silly face or break into a song. I also understand when it’s time to pause, put the camera down, and simply have a chat, or just sit quietly for a moment—because that little break can make all the difference to a child.

I am a mum and I care: As a parent I understand just how important it is to have these school photos. I hated the disappointment of seeing my children grimacing at the camera in-front of a odd backdrop looking like they had been dragged through a hedge backwards.
I take my time: Children don't always perform, some need a little extra time and I am there to give it.
I won't force smiles: Plonk a child down and ask them to say cheese - it is a recipe for a blooming awful photo. I don't and won't ever do that. I chat to every child, I laugh, pull silly faces, make jokes, ask questions. This brings out the best in them and lets me capture beautiful photos, naturally.
Being outside: Takes all the pressure away from the children. No lights and off putting flashes. It allows a playful nature to come into effect.
Independent, Not Corporate: This is my business, that I have built from the ground up and I care! I am a one woman band,
I work every school myself, I edit every photo myself and I pack every order myself. With 14+ years experience,
I am really good at what I do.
I'll give 100% to every child
we will have a lot of fun
i'm organised + love the details
YOU WILL LOVE WHAT WE CREATE

Kirsty knows what it takes to get the good stuff. She is a bundle of positive energy from the moment she arrives to the moment she leaves. Her attitude is infectious and she leaves everyone with a big smile on their faces.

Our parents love the photos and we love you. We have never had so many compliments about nursery photos before. Spending that little bit of extra time makes such a difference.

Yes, I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DSB and am subscribed to the update service.
I always work in a way that ensures school staff are present and involved throughout the sessions. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything I do. With over 14 years of experience in the photography industry, I’ve worked across nursery, school, and SEND settings, creating a calm, supportive environment for every child.
The best times for photos are May, June, September, or October. These months allow us to make the most of warmer weather and your outdoor spaces.
Being outside helps the photos feel more relaxed and gives them a unique look and feel.
I get booked up quickly, so it’s usually best to confirm your booking around 12 months in advance to secure your preferred dates.
Because I don’t “click and run,” I like to take the time to get the best from the children. The process is calmer, more relaxed, and gives every child a chance to relax in front of the camera.
For a school with 6/7 classes, I’m usually on site for around 1 to 1.5 full days, photographing roughly 215 children per day.
Mornings work best for younger year groups, they’re fresh, smart, and ready to go before the day (and the lunchtime yoghurts!) take over!
Day two is often focused on siblings and any missed children, keeping things smooth and stress-free.
We’re in the UK, so a backup plan is always sensible. Which is why we book 2 dates. Wherever possible, I like to remain outside to keep the photos relaxed and natural.
If the weather is really heavy and it’s not possible to shoot outdoors, Then we will have to rearrange for another day.
If you ever need to reschedule, I kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
Yes, I can rename files with an identifier that links with your system, ensuring each photo is matched to the correct student.
Please note: Sims users require a special paid licence from Capita Sims to allow the images to populate automatically into the school database.
No. My prices are competitive with the larger corporate companies, but the experience and quality are very different.
Each child has a fun, relaxed mini session rather than being rushed through in seconds. I personally edit every image in my signature style so families receive photos that feel genuine and individual, not generic or overly posed.
I also work on a family basis, which means parents can mix and match images across all their children in one order. They’re not locked into separate packages or minimum spends per child, they simply buy what they love.
There’s no upfront cost to the school. My profit comes entirely from family orders. Digital downloads start from £22 and prints from £15, with class photos always provided as prints.
This approach gives families real choice and value, while keeping the experience enjoyable for the children and simple for the school.
