Natural, authentic imagery + films for websites, prospectuses and admissions.
They’re not just reading about your school. They’re trying to picture their child there.
Photography and film help bring that to life in different ways.
Photography captures the moments. Film shows the feeling and flow of the day.
Together, they give families a fuller, more honest view of your school.
Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions a parent will make.
MARKETING IMAGERY
Real moments.
Real spaces.
Real school life.
The kind of images that help families understand your school before they even step through the gate.
Quiet learning. Busy corridors. Outdoor play.
The in-between moments that make your school feel like your school.
Nothing staged. Nothing forced.

I always work in a way that ensures school staff are present and involved throughout the sessions. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything I do. With over 15 years of experience in the photography industry, I’ve worked across nursery, school, and SEND settings, creating a calm, supportive environment for every child.
The best times for photos are April, May, June, and September. These months allow us to make the most of warmer weather and your outdoor spaces.
Being outside helps the photos feel more relaxed and gives them a unique look and feel.
I get booked up quickly, so it’s usually best to confirm your booking around 12 months in advance to secure your preferred dates.
Every school is different, so there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer.
Some schools only need a handful of images for a website refresh, while others want a full library of photography and film covering classrooms, outdoor learning, staff interaction, facilities and daily school life.
To keep things flexible, I offer three options:
Hourly sessions – ideal for smaller projects, specific events or targeted content updates.
Half Day (3.5 hours) – perfect for capturing a good variety of imagery across different areas of the school without taking up a full day.
Full Day (6.5 hours) – best for schools looking to create a comprehensive image library or combine photography and film across multiple activities and locations.
If you’re not sure what you’ll need, don’t worry. We’ll chat through your goals beforehand and work out the best option together.
We’re in the UK, so a backup plan is always sensible. Which is why we book 2 dates. Wherever possible, I like to remain outside to keep the photos relaxed and natural.
If the weather is really heavy and it’s not possible to shoot outdoors, Then we will have to rearrange for another day.
If you ever need to reschedule, I kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
Yes, always.
Most schools know they need new imagery, but aren’t always sure what that should actually include. That’s where I help.
Before the shoot, we’ll talk through what you need the images for and what you want to show about your school. This might include areas like classroom learning, outdoor education, sports, early years, pastoral care, or specific facilities you’re proud of.
I’ll then help shape a simple plan for the day so we can make the most of the time we have together. This isn’t a rigid shot list or a staged set-up. It’s more of a loose guide that keeps things focused while still allowing space for natural moments to happen.
On the day, I work around what’s actually happening in school life. If something better unfolds naturally, we follow that instead.
The goal is always the same. To leave you with a varied, authentic set of images that genuinely reflects your school.
Safeguarding is always a priority.
Before the shoot, we’ll discuss any photography permissions, image-use policies, or specific restrictions that apply within your school. I’m happy to work alongside your existing processes to ensure everything is handled appropriately.
I understand that many schools are becoming more cautious about the use of identifiable images in public-facing marketing. Where required, we can adapt our approach to reduce or avoid faces altogether.
This might include photographing children from behind, focusing on hands-on activities, capturing wider environmental scenes, or using natural interactions where individual children are not easily identifiable.
The result is still a strong collection of authentic, engaging imagery that tells the story of your school while respecting your safeguarding and image-use requirements.
Every school is different, and we’ll agree the best approach before the shoot so everyone feels comfortable and confident.
